Olson Elementary School welcomed students and families back this fall to a refreshed and reimagined campus, following an extensive summer renovation funded by Allen ISD Bond 2024 projects.
Originally opened in 2009, the school underwent a full interior redesign, including new classrooms, updated library space, and upgraded mechanical systems. Energy-efficient geothermal technology, LED lighting, and durable finishes were added to improve performance and sustainability.
Improvements also included cafeteria equipment upgrades, roofing and waterproofing repairs, and new shade structures over playground equipment. Safety, security, and infrastructure enhancements – along with grounds and irrigation repairs – ensure Olson is ready to serve students for years to come.
