The Allen ISD Board of Trustees recently recognized students and staff at their March 2026 Board meeting. Honorees included state champion athletic teams, science fair winners from elementary and secondary levels, award-winning student filmmakers, and outstanding communications professionals.
Special thanks to students from Ford Middle School Hope Squad for leading the Board in the Pledge of Allegiance.

The Board recognized Allen High School wrestling teams for their outstanding performances at the UIL 6A State Tournament, highlighted by a second consecutive state championship for the boys team and a third-place finish for the girls team.

In addition to the recognitions, the Board heard a presentation from Green Elementary students and staff about the impact of the Leader in Me program on their campus. During the presentation, students and staff shared how leadership is embedded into daily learning and school culture.
The presentation highlighted how students take an active role in leading, learning, and contributing to a positive school environment.
